Civil Senior Foreman

MATANA Buildings is a construction and contracting company delivering warehouses, industrial buildings, strip malls and residential buildings in Saudi Arabia. Our team brings long site experience, and we are growing our project teams.

You will

• Lead MATANA crews and subcontractor crews on the civil and finishing works.
• Allocate labour, equipment and materials each day to meet the site engineer's plan.
• Supervise excavation, formwork, reinforcement and concreting.
• Supervise the finishing trades: blockwork, plaster, waterproofing, tiling, gypsum ceilings, painting and external finishes.
• Prepare work fronts and sequence the trades so no crew waits.
• Check workmanship against the drawings before every inspection, and put defects right.
• Keep daily attendance and productivity for each crew.
• Request materials on time, store them properly and cut waste.
• Enforce HSE rules, PPE, toolbox talks and housekeeping on every crew.
• Report daily progress, delays and issues to the site engineer.
• Close snags before handover.
• Guide and develop chargehands and workers.

You bring

• 11+ years on building sites, including several years as a foreman in KSA.
• Hands-on experience in both structural works and finishing works.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Ability to lead large crews and subcontractors.
• Good HSE knowledge: PPE, work at height, excavation and lifting safety, and housekeeping.
• At least basic Arabic and basic English.
• Saudi, or non-Saudi with a transferable Iqama.

An advantage

• HSE certificates (supervisor safety training, OSHA 30-hour or equivalent).
